Police hunt bar attacker

The hunt is on to find a man who attacked a woman in a busy bar.

Police say he is possibly Hispanic and was drinking at Vic’s Bar Sunday night when the attack happened.

A woman said he started pulling her as if to dance and touched her inappropriately.

“When the woman refused his advances, the man started punching her in the face and body,” a police spokeswoman said.  “The victim never met this man before this incident and does not know him. The woman was treated at hospital for bruises all over her body and released.”

Anyone who was in the bar or knows the attacked is urged to contact police on 949-4222.

  1. I wonder what patrons at the bar at the time of the attack were doing?

If I were to witness such an event the attacker would need years of medical treatment to recover…or perhaps this too was just a ‘cultural misunderstanding’?
