The prison has announced a new behind bars programme to use the skin of green iguanas to make handbags.

Not only is this providing a useful skill to those locked up, it is also helps rid the country of the pesky reptile.

Some restaurants are even turning green iguanas into a tasty gourmet dish and serving up a treat on people’s plates.

But what’s next?

If Cayman is overrun we need to get our thinking caps on and come up with more uses for this rogue reptile.
