New uniform, check. Pencil case, check, ready to learn, check.
It’s often tricky to work out who’s more anxious about day one in the classroom – the children or the parents?
Yes, there may have been a few tears shed, but once the bell rings it’s down to the serious business of education, education, education.
New friends will be made, old acquittances rekindled, but one thing for sure, the children will have a great time and can’t wait to head back for more tomorrow.
We sent our photographer to two Primary Schools, Bodden Town and George Town, to capture the memories that will last a lifetime.
